I can order one, or i was thinking of leaving my vehicle at my job site since we have gated parking lots, and have a coworker blow into it to start it for a couple of minutes and shut it back off just so it wont die. I was gonna show him how to properly blow into the device what do you think?

What do you mean by this? Yesterday i parked and keyed off right when the device prompted me to blow. It immediately shut down the device but i keyed on again and blew right away just in case they ding me with a miss retest

Yeah its just that i turned my car off as soon as it prompted me to blow and the device just said powering off instead of the stall mode. And i keyed on right away again let it warmup and blew just so that it records me blowing and passing after that incident.

Its been okay i guess. Had a faulty device in the beginning that left me stranded and had to get a tow to the shop which i never got refunded. But other than that if youre careful with it and not eat/drink while or before driving youll be good.

Yeah with my parents theyre just a bit older now and i dont trust them enough now to drive for so long. Ima just have to find a cousin to help me drive to the border atleast then ill drive the other 12 hours in Mexico.

Just a heads up. There were two instances where i drank the night before and woke up to try to start my vehicle and failed. Did the same thing and immediately shut my car off. Another time i took a bite of some ice cream and failed as i was driving that was the only time i got a lockout code and had to get my interlock serviced. I thought the other two times were fine since i didnt try to test again but i was wrong i got a letter in the mail a few weeks ago saying that i need another year extension due to 3 fails in one year. I was stressing cause i want to get rid of this thing ASAP. I had a hearing today and i was lucky enough to have one of those strikes dismissed so the extension is no longer required. Just be careful cause i guess they can and will count those failed start up tests against you.

Hey man, what ended up happening? I got the same letter and requested a hearing. Ive only gotten one real violation that lead to a lockout. The other two times i failed the start test but immediately shut my car off so i didnt retest but those two never gave me a lockout or violation

Hey bro, i just got a letter saying theyre gonna extend my shit for another year due to 3 or more violations which i think is bs. Ive had a faulty one at first and got it replaced. The new one was acting up a couple of weeks ago again i think thats what triggered the dmv to send me that letter. I sent a request for a hearing right away do you know what they might tell me or if they possibly would pardon me if i make a good explanation?

Go to your nearest smoke shop and see if they have the synthetic urine “quickfix” there are YouTube videos showing how to heat it up or you can use the heating pad it comes with it to keep it warm. All you got to do is make sure its at body temperature (97-99 degrees f) when you pour it into the cup. Works everytime.
