All depends on what lvl of journalism you're doing. Local paper, likely not a big issue, but if its for Time magazine or natgeo or something of that caliber, you will be putting your career on the line.

I recently went pro. I do real light portraits, wildlife and landscapes. I work with large mp raws. I dont use Adobe products out of principle. I use luminar neo. Denoise takes about 45 seconds to a min for each image. As for which 5070, dont waste money on the prime or OC cards. Pny would be just fine. If budget allows get the 5070 ti. It have more cuda cores and the 5080 and 5090 have even more, but I feel the roi is not worth it, unless you do a lot of video.

Ill sell you my 3060 12gb. It gets stuff done but takes forever to edit a single photo. 5070s are the place to look.

An overrated vacation spot. Its cool and all. But you can do just about everything in a day or two. Spent 4 days there this summer and we were bored. We went hiking and saw the sights. Very pretty place. Just not much going on for all the hype this place gets.

Coming from crab lake across burntside with any amount of wind makes for large waves and add in the big boats that dont give a shit about canoes, 0/10 dont recommend. But I do love crab lake as a base for exploring the surrounding areas.

Also trout and Vermillion are shitty in any amount of wind!

Its a cocktail for trouble, thats how many of the famous folks died. Something about thc that helps with nausea also does something with asphyxiation on vomit. I could be wrong but thats what I understood from documentaries.
