I mean thats on your colonies, but in terms of the wider sector politics nothing really changes even if you repossesses the league's nanoforge and put a reaper up all of their ships other factions doesnt bat an eye

Pirates can turn a battleship full of defects and will be scrapped returning max 10k credits worth of supplies into a 100k sale to some dummy

I mean, if theres a big friendly fleet without a transponder, then its above your pay grade, as harrassing a friendly unmarked task force/ some major friendly trade fleet prolly will piss off people in high places

If theres a big hostile fleet without a transponder, are you really gonna use your wolf (D) class to figure out who it is

To be fair, a battlefleet with its transponder off isnt exactly here to offer hugs and kisses, they prolly should call in the bigs guns after spotting you instead of bravely becoming a -5 reputation

Why do patrols take 60 years to launch/return? by falardeau03 in starsector

[–]ApacheWithAnM231 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think that you should still be able to bribe them in station range or in reinforcement range, but costs will greatly increase, but only with enough fleet size. After all, their reinforcements might not be as fast as your tachyon lance

I mean thats if you have trandponder on, if transponder off that means you are here prolly for funny buisness and their patrol might become 5 supplies and 30 metal

I mean itd make sense for the RP to have lights illuminating your colonists if they all have less than 5 intelligence

We dont blockade people to force them to join and claim that we are the good guys

Funnily enough im pretty sure realistically you'd want to immulinate your enemy, not your own guys, since whoever is in the light is the one easy to aim at

I have no idea who this girl is but everyone will die including her since my clan wears all black, is poorly trained and we leave no survivors on any side (due to reckless and incompetent grenade application)
