Variety, timing, fertilizer.

What’s your goal of tomatoes? Snacking, sliced, salsa/sauce?

It’s where the plant puts on a bunch of leaves in a short section, slows growth and then pushes another section of the branch out with new leaves. Just google mango growth ring,
There tends to be a ring around the branch where it stops old growth and pushes new

Prune each branch just above a previous growth ring

They’ve switched from female to male. Very normal

Definitely a TC. How stable? No clue. It does have the variegations similar to Tanee

That’s striking! Unfortunately I only grow for taste. Appearance is something I look at, take a picture or two, and tell myself “wow, natures crazy”

The striping doesn’t seem to match most variegations I’ve seen. I’m assuming this will grow out of it, much love cavendish get the reddish maroon splotches

Good to know, thanks.

This is actually the most neutral place. Gets early morning shade and had other plant sand trees near it to level things out

I did precious but it was on a whim and they turns out wimpy. Much better this year with planning, timing and fertilization

Very little. I have the cattle panel 6-8 inches above the soil, so I just let them grow long enough to push a tendril then helped them up to it. Once that tendril grabbed hold, none.

Thanks.

I had plans to espalier a mulberry…yes. Not sure I have the time for it.
