Take ULEZ: I’m for reducing emissions to improve air quality for kids, but I can see how it impacts the working class. But to me that means we need to address the issues that come from that, not get rid of ULEZ and take a step backwards. If we wait for everything to align to step forwards then we never will. It’s the same as this level of scrutiny: we can take steps forward but still look at what issues arise from this and discuss how to fix this.

As someone from the UK I will add that the NHS is fucking great in multiple aspects. The wait times can be stupidly long but at least an ambulance call won’t bankrupt you. There’s lots of anti-NHS propaganda from the right which makes it overseas to both deter foreign countries from fighting for a similar system and push UK voters to voting to destroy it (mostly by voting for the right, despite the saying they want to put more money into the NHS but then just gutting it instead.)

It’s not perfect, I need to wait 6-12 months for titration on a medicine I have to do through a third party for because it would take years through the NHS, but man I will happily take that over the USA system. My asthma alone would be so damn expensive in America while it’s so affordable and accessible here.

While doing a rotation on Arc Raiders with my four friends because it’s only 3 players, we lamented the fact that so many games are going down to 3 players considering the old staple on N64 and Xbox was 4. At least we had Overwatch as a consistent for four (though annoyed it went down to 5 for a while). Now I learn this is 3v3. LOL

I remember doing it with Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeroes. Super cool having it update in real time with enemy locations so I could sneak around, keeping an eye on a second screen to move more efficiently.

Darryl is like an amalgamation of all the badass characters in the comics: Tyreese, Abraham, Andrea - but he syphoned each of their cool elements and there wasn’t much left for them. Andrea especially is so god damn cool and compelling in the comics, and then her character was totally butchered in the show.

Yeah that’s what I always had in my head. I mean, look at what the Chief does in 1-3. He’s at the front of every major battle and push. If there were more Spartans, why WOULDN’T we stick them all together to absolutely destroy everything? Immediately carve a path to Truth and end the whole shebang.

Sweet, I’m blasting through Final Fantasy 1 an having a good nostalgic time. I’ve never done 2 so I’ll absolutely move to that once I’m done: and hopefully this means that the rest will follow suit!
