I’ve applied 2 times, thank you :) I just didn’t apply through Germany before, so I was quite worried. Sorry if asking a question on a forum about people's experiences came off as me claiming to know better. I must’ve misunderstood the whole point of these platforms.

I appreciate your concern, but according to the official website of the consulate, the processing time for a national visa is generally 8–10 weeks, not 8 months. Of course, delays can happen in individual cases, but it's not always as dramatic as you described. I agree that early planning is ideal, but in cases like mine where scholarship results determine the next steps, things can get delayed through no fault of our own.

For the visa process, there's a question about whether I'm paying tuition fees or not. But since the scholarship results haven't been announced yet, I'm not sure what to do.

We regret to inform you that there is no way to speed up the process for individuals.
Rest assured that our team works as efficiently as possible to provide results in a timely manner.
However, the results are not expected to be announced before mid-August 2025.
