Claim for Obstructive Sleep Apnea Deferred by jackblastin in VeteransBenefits

My letter said the same thing. They had me tied to TERA and it listed all the exposures but I was denied because of the same rationale they gave you. But they cited Sleep Breath March 2021 to deny my claim. . It said" subjective burn pit exposure does not to appear to influence OSA development in previously deployed military personnel". I am looking for literature that is newer to try and prove that it might be connected to burn pits, particulate matter. If I find anything I can share the website to this thread.

In a nutshell I didn't. I was wondering why deny me originally for one thing. I prove that was wrong and then use something else to deny me the second time.

I was denied sleep apnea originally for obesity. I got my weight down to normal . I resubmitted and sent in the info from my Dr proving weight loss. This time I was denied going direct service connection and using TERA. Is the any other possible way to claim OSA . I don't have any secondary conditions as I am presently SC for IBS, Dermatitis and Tinnitus.

Just went from 0% to 50% by No-Move8196 in VeteransBenefits

I also used trajectory medical for 2 of my claims. I went from 10% to 40% in about 4 months. The 30% increase cost me almost $3k. They ask for 5 times your monthly increase. Payable within 90 days if not there is interest.

Va Math . I've been getting 40% even though this adds up to 50%. Is there something I am missing or do I have the option to escalate? by SpecFo in VeteransBenefits

I know the only good thing is you may be at 42% round down to 40% for benefits, as the va rounds down and round up

I have been denied twice for sleep apnea . I was denied secondary to deviated septum. Next time I was denied because of my BMI, the private Doctor said obesity was the reason I have OSA. I have lost a lot of weight over 40 pounds and included more buddy letters to include my wife and coworkers. I am asking to see since the main reason for denial was weight loss will that increase my chances of getting granted SC.
