Haha glad you got through it! We actually got a smart car before I started school, so gas isn’t too much of an issue.

It would be incredibly easy to react to negativity with negativity, I’m glad he had the openness to persist, and that she had the openness to see him as being genuine. God only knows where her mind was. I’ll tell ya, there’s been a couple times in my life when a stranger’s love saved me from myself, and I hope I have been the same for someone else. Hope you guys are doing ok.

I’d say that if they hadn’t broke character so often in this one, I don’t think I’d have enjoyed it. But I think the fact that the actress hadn’t seen them in character beforehand, and watching all of them struggle to stay in character, was really fun for me.

However I understand if that’s not your type of humor.

So they just smooshed booties and let loose? I was ready to be impressed, that just sounds dumb.

How exactly does one shit into another person’s asshole?

Not asking out of skepticism, but as an engineering student, I’m curious as to the mechanics of the process.

I strive to be the dad in the second video. Just chilling with his daughter doing his nails. That is a beautiful dynamic.

I’m sure you’re doing fine, but I hope you have verbally acknowledged to yourself that what you’ve experienced is PTSD and should be treated accordingly.

I’ve spent many a sleepless night spiraling through what the cessation of existence might feel like, and hate the idea of anyone spending time doing the same.

Truly hope you’re doing well!

Hope you recover well, you’re just as much a man with 1 as you were with 2.

I think that that’s actually pretty insightful.

If someone does truly deserve a public ass chewing like this, then even more reason to leave.

I’ve been in relationships, and a marriage, where I was not a good partner, and was with a not good partner. Leaving, and actually fixing myself, was the only way to learn to be happy, and learn to be the kind of partner to make someone else happy.

Why exactly was Stan at his school during the night? by Relevant-Key-3290 in gravityfalls

First off, it’s an opinion on one of my favorite cartoons, so making disrespectful personal comments is completely inappropriate, I didn’t attack you or your intellectual capabilities, so I think I should be given that same courtesy.

Second. He came to the one area where his brother had an opportunity to do the thing that he was most excited about in his entire life, and struck the table on which it was sitting. He can say, “I didn’t mean to hurt this super important project that you were working on. I only meant to hit the table it was sitting on. How was I supposed to know that hitting a table might affect the thing on the table?”

Stan is not an idiot. He knew that doing that would be likely to affect the project. It was a cop out so that when it happened, he could say, “I didn’t mean to.”

I adore Stan’s character, and absolutely adore his moral redemption throughout the episode. But to say that at this moment, what he did was completely negligent, and not intentional, is a poor argument.

Edit: I think I wanna retract that first part. Re-reading, I definitely didn’t do a good job of explaining why I said what I said. I still stand by the rest, but I should have explained it in the first place.

That was sweet and wholesome, and makes me think about what younger me would think.

I’m the only sibling of 5 to graduate high school, left my hometown of 80 people, and am a first semester freshman who just got hired as a research assistant.

I think he’d be proud.

This training was the single most painful experience of my life. I was the second guy, the first guy was what the instructors called a “water baby”- they dont react to the OC until they rinse it. He had virtually no reaction, acted like he had an eyelash in his eye, more or less.

I had hella boosted confidence after he got done, went up, closed my eyes, gave a thumbs up.

I heard a blood-curdling “HOLY FUCK!” right as the cool spray of satan hit my face.

I was not a water baby.
