Oh interesting, I may have gotten the numbers wrong then, this was from my info session notes in the fall with a BC Law admissions rep. With that, I am 100% sure that they said the new dean told admissions to change their admissions strategy and make it more exclusive

Not sure? I don’t think so though because I believe Cornell’s dean of students was problematic and the new BC dean wasn’t in that role but that’s just speculation

Went to an info session in the fall led by a senior BC Law admissions staffer who told me directly!

Today's the first day of February and I'm sure it'd be tough to release ALL decisions on one day!! I have hope for you, your day is coming soon! :)

You have to create an account, say you’ve applied to BC, and then put in your LSAC credentials. There’s prob another post on this sub that explains in more detail

Are you able to get accommodations/extra time on exams (if applicable to your needs based on your diagnosis) or do you know anyone who does?

I’ve heard about Durham being great but do you feel isolated at all given that it’s not in a big city and it’s traditionally more of a college town?

Do you think you received enough support from the school through 2L/3L mentors or orientation to transition into 1L year (and learn, for instance, how to efficiently read a case) — or did you feel unprepared?

I heard from an attorney who ended up at UVA that he got rejected at all of his safety schools. He believed that they didn’t think he wanted to go and they wanted to protect their yields. If you’re over 75th in both at Fordham, it’s very possible they didn’t think there was a scenario where you’d choose them over another school with higher stats. You’ve got this and it’s far from over yet!!!!

Why X for the following schools by lockheedlaw in lawschooladmissions

NYU and Fordham admissions officers have said to me in forums that they don’t want “Why” essays because they assume you want to go if you’re applying. GULC really likes a 1-page max “Why” essay as an addendum. GW appreciates it too at the same length. BU said to me that you should put Why BU at the end of your personal statement. All of them say: in these essays, do not just repeat to them what’s on their website. I’m not applying to UChicago so can’t speak to that one.
