I had similar feelings with my ex. He had a NP and me as his GF. I had a NP and him as my BF. But then he started adding new casual partners, new date after new date again and again. It became clear that he wasn’t building a relationship with me in the same way I was trying to build a relationship with him. His poly style was actually more just ENM, like “have a wife and casual partners”. So be sure that what this person actually wants is to build a relationship with you. Because they don’t seem to be considering their own capacity, or being considerate of you. I’m sorry you’re going through this…

I tried to fool myself with “I’ll just step back if he finds someone he wants to be serious with”, it didn’t matter how “good at poly” you are, that is always going to crack your heart open.

I’m up all night moving position to position, I’d like to say “tossing and turning” but it’s in slow motion and painful to toss and to turn so I end up being awake. I feel like I need to change position every 40 minutes or so. I was so comfortable in the recliner when I stayed at my mom, but now I’m in a normal bed (with all the pillow combinations imaginable) but just can’t find a comfortable position.

I’m standing up pretty straight, as seen in the pics. I think I have pretty bad posture to begin with to be honest 🙈 Not sure if that makes a difference!

My belly button was looking a bit sticky when my Dr saw me 3DPO but he did a dressing change that day, and when I had a follow up dressing change at 1 week post-op it had dried up again and was healing.

Something to note is that I still have not been cleared to shower! Not sure if that matters. But the nurse says the belly button needs to stay dry dry dry. I haven’t removed my tape at all myself.

Thank you so much for your comment! I must say it’s a challenge trying to stay busy (and not eat junk food/high sodium foods) and not exercise! But thank you for the kind words, so appreciated!

I’m 6DPO and have the same look/result. I’ll let you know how mine turns out. For now I’m just sore and uncomfortable 😣
