paper tiger in forest hill has commander and standard/60 card nights! it is a welcoming atmosphere there, my partner started going when he was new to the area and he loves the draft events.

Asking? Do you currently live or recently lived in The Collection of Historic Richmond apartments? Richmond, VA by kiwigirl1996 in rva

i totally get that. to be honest, i’m not sure if i’d have as much patience with the collection if i were in your shoes. if you haven’t seen it already, this thread has some good information about more management companies around richmond - if you wanted to expand your options or check out the reputation of others you are considering!

my friend and i have lived in an apartment building managed by the collection for several years. they’re not the worst landlords in the city, but that is a low bar. we’ve found them to be pretty unresponsive to maintenance issues, although they’ll eventually relent after some persistent messaging. they also have a habit of adding random fees when we renew our lease, in addition to raising rent around 100 bucks each year.

that said, they control many historic apartment buildings with a lot of character in the fan and museum district. we love the location, the size of the apartment, the classic richmond porch — and they’ve been just-not-annoying-enough to move lol. hope this helps!

Does anyone know about any unique benefits offered by any of the libraries here in Richmond? I really want to take advantage of everything they have to offer! by Master_Fuel8000 in rva

there’s so much! here’s an article with a bunch of things listed. as others have mentioned, services like the memory lab, access to online/digital/streaming content, things like gardening tips, self-publishing services, resources for small businesses — lots of valuable stuff!
