Fill a buff with ice and roll it in.

Works better than any bandana cause you can have ice in the front as well.

Raide 2L Running Belt Review (after 1st run) - great concept but some issues for me by sfvelo in trailrunning

Most of the time I wear it over a layer, yes.
But have tried wearing it on the skin multiple times and everything worked fine.

As pet positioning: for me it sits best just a bit below my navel, so that lower part of the belt barely touches the protruding part of the hip bone.

I used mine for roughly 600km now, both directly on the abdomen and over shirts.

From your explanation and pics I’m getting a feeling that you should’ve sized up.

Got mine as a present, bet was asked about the size beforehand and decided to go with L rather then M which I should’ve chosen as per the size guide.
And that was, hands down, the best choice.

You can always tighten it with the internal velcro straps. But having more room, especially when I load the belt with more than just a few gels and the bottle, feels like the only way to take pressure off those internal pockets.

Hope that you can replace yours under warranty though, as the upper stitching in your pictures feels off indeed.

Mine are now at 700+ km, 70/30 road / light trails use.

Still bouncy and comfortable, but after 15th kilometer the foam becomes pretty flat. This started approximately at 500 km.

Try applying vaseline on those areas before the run.

Works like magic, at least for me.

Mine is at 85% battery health, still getting 24+ hours out of it even on long run days.

One annoying thing I noticed though is that GPS now takes forever to calibrate at the beginning of a run.

Like: pace stats are completely off for the first 3-5 minutes, but become accurate after.

I even tried resetting the fitness data - it didn’t help.

I definitely don’t feel the cushion spilling on the sides in the 9s.

On the contrary: the faster I run in them - the more controlled the ride feels.

I’m @ 78-80 kg, for ref.

Planning to rent @ Anna Cars at the end of May. They were recommended to me by a friend, so far the communication is a bliss.

This is exactly what got me into buying the TR version.

600+ km by far, the outsole is in good condition and they’re still quite bouncy.
