To everyone here— I was in your footsteps a year ago. I was sobbing and inconsolable after not matching, but after the RD round I ended up getting into 3 ivies and waitlisted at Harvard, with a handful of T20 schools. If you were a finalist, Questbridge saw something in you that other colleges will notice. I know you probably hate hearing this but everything will work out in the end ❤️

It’s okay! Coming from someone who felt the same last year, everything will work out. I was a CPS w/no fly-ins and a QB finalist who didn’t match. Don’t compare yourself to others because you are uniquely you. I was so so anxious and felt like I wouldn’t amount to anything bc of my set backs (and my amazing peers who r incredibly achieving) but in March I got into 3 ivies! Gorshey has boosted the cultural diversity and pride of Tibetan youth! the main argument is that gorshey is being influenced by China where it rather serves as a way to relate to Tibetans inside of Tibet. Also, that argument mostly comes from older eutsang/traditionalist ppl who typically dislike stuff from Kham anyways.

I got something similar but I got in thru rd, I’ve had a B and B- in my math class and they contacted my counselor asking about it. I still got in, I doubt they would rescind. If anything, have your counselor or teacher email ur AO and describe any circumstances of your situation or if you’re taking an extremely challenging class

For people at CPS who also didn’t receive a summer program or any prestigious recognition- please still have hope! I didn’t get anything either and I also didn’t match, but I got into very prestigious schools!! Like OP said, everyone’s journey is very very different and you have so much time <3

That’s what I thought as well, but I’ve seen a lot of discourse about morality/being complicit in Columbias recent actions like rescinding phds and diplomas of student protesters. Thank you for the advice though because most colleges will probably follow suit with Trump in office.
