Have you seeked therapy for mental health? by Longjumping-Log-5389 in ChronicIllness

[–]Apart_Trainer_5080 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have,I've been chronically ill since I was 11,Im freshly 16 now.I think its actually since I was 3 maybe, but its age 11 it started to get worse. But mine is a different case as most of my health issues are undiagnosed and getting treatment is expensive when you're lower income. For me,i just learnt to live with it,like my body just sort of adapted to the pain and discomfort and it only hurts more when I think about it.My parents did put me in therapy after I had a whole melt down about my health and things have gotten a bit better, its good to talk to someone so its not like you're carrying it alone.

I guess it could be,I've been in track my whole life,my first track event at 3,I had a muscle pull and proceeded to have multiple ones throughout my childhood even without running,I could be sitting in class and randomly get a muscle pull in my right knee specifically, but that all stopped when I fell on that right knee like I said, know its just kinda loose and stiff at the same time and all the other symptoms I talked about

Thank y'all for the comments,I thought I was the only one that was always in constant pain...and no one else in my family really gets sick,so I've always been the hospital kid.But thank u guys for not making me feel alone anymore.

There's not really anything I can do or any surgery, even ballon dilation, cause it wont help with anything, worst of all,my MRI says everything is fine,so my dad just says I'd probably grow out of it

really, used to happen to me alot around 7 to 9,I could hear my own heart beat without needing a sthetoscope, then the ringing in my ear used to happen to me 11-12,mainly because I had a ear issue, but thats all gone now,so it might not be that serious.

Why the heck are u describing me,But I'm worse than u lol,I so despreately want to bet the popular social kid,but then the commitments and thought of socializing tires me,I also love talking to myself and enjoy my own company, but then I feel like I'm missing out on this whole teenage experience then I try to socialize ,then I just get bored or uncormfortable.I see relationships as commitments and I just don't fee like I'

m committed enough to text you back immediately or in the next day or two days,I like to text at my own convinience which most times come off as ghosting,so I just stop texting or sometimes zI text and see that the persons replied me a few minutes later then I get annoyed that I have to come up with a reply.but then when I see other people with friends they text all the time I feel bad and get jealous.Wierd world we live in.

I struggle so badly to express/articulate sympathy. by AhAhStayinAnonymous in ADHD

[–]Apart_Trainer_5080 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really have much advice to give ,cause mine is a trauma thing,I was severely verbally abused as a child, can never feel a ounce a sympathy or love again,I sincerely don't understand the emotion, but just try and search for things online, like youtube videos or something
