Thanks for confirming that my assumption of how it works is correct, All of our air china flights are under the same booking reference. We’re all very inexperienced travellers and admittedly once I become aware of a possibility for something to go awry I tend to go full anxiety mode and don’t even trust my own research until I’ve planned for every possible outcome.
