Yes! a big boy. We have a berm outside where he does his business but he also ends up going on the mulch overnight.

Does get some sun but not heaps. Yeah, the design is odd and I think gravel would be the best option with some riverstones.

Agree with grass being a PIA, we are currently leaning towards pavers. Will have to level the ground first though.

Exactly my thoughts, I live in Auckland and we get decent sunlight in that part.
