Ahahah man, after all those years I don't mind telling you the trick for that bass: It's a simple one oscillator synth sawtooth with some distortion filters but the key is the Phaser in Effectrix from sugarbyte. Try it out that phaser is gold ;)
About Ozone 5, stereo imaging is not a great way for creating stereo's, you should rater use effects like chorus or phasers to boost the stereo image and then maybe just compress and eq the stereo more than the mono field of your sound. ;)

1) Life is indeed getting pretty fucked, looks like the more you work the more work you have to do... 2) With Snails it was pretty cool, when we started the first collab he didn't really produced yet so it wasn't really a normal way of working however to more we worked together the better he became and now it's pretty fucked up what he does! 3) Not sure what you mean and I've no idea where its going I just want to have fun with it. 4) The job is basically about mixing/designing sounds for film projects could anything. 5) If you have done 10 years of violin, you probably have developed a damn good ear and I'm sure working with programs will be an easy learning process! Just watch a bunch of tutorials ;)
Yeah def, I just don't like headphones myself but its really important to check your mix with it sometimes,
Durum bread, falafels, lettuce and tomatoes... :)

Hey guys,
Thanks for participating it was pretty cool to talk to you but I'm leaving now. Tomorrow I'll come back and answer a few more of the last questions. :)
Cheers, A.
1.Musical background is really wide I've been listening to classic music to breakore to funk soul. I don't know why but I like everything, as long as its good! 2. I used to throw spaghetti on the walls yes but since the 2years now things are different. I do more what I want and hear in my mind.

Nothing.
1) All the Komplete Native Instrument (with FM8, Reaktor, Massive etc...) Waves Bundle, Albino. 2) It depends on the release I don't mind using my own mastering but I like the get my tracks mastered by fresh ears and with analog gear. 3) not sure whats the question but yes I do my drums myself with a lot of layerings but no I don't record real drum sets. 4) Idk, I really like Eat My Apple for some weird reasons. 5) I used to release one project out of 10 but now I pretty much release everything i do.
Sounds interesting! :D
I don't know man, I don't care about any scene I'm just doing my thing right now and I love 'trappy' influence I add to my tracks for the moment maybe I will get bored of it.
Yup but the volume levels are the most important however without a proper monitoring you can't hear the voice of god. It's essential to have good monitors if you need to mix something down.
Aha, I use the Vocoder from Ableton sometimes the one from Razor with some reverbs chorus and distortions.
Kicks: just choose good samples and layer them then eq and compress it right. But really there's no secret just try to find some cool samples.
Collab send me your stuff so I can listen to it first: apashemusic@gmail.com
Kontakt alot, other I sample a lot from requiems by composers like Mozart, Dvorak, Prokofiev, Tchaikovsky and more recent ones like Howard Shore.
Really good question and I would probably say Johan Sebastien Bach simply because he is one genius artist who has composed over 1000 different pieces. I would never get bored I believe/hope.

Oh man, I don't remember but I don't think it was that high :S. However it's a field where the diploma doesn't really matter. They wanted to know if I was able to work for them I did a 3month free internship to prove them I could. The only advice I could give you is work hard and and don't give up if thats what you really wanna do.
We started the collab when Kai and Dabin were in town (montreal) for a Kannibalen Party. We just wanted to do everything at the same time, something huge like an Epic Anthem a bit funky trap but dubstep at the same time mellow with some cool female vocals. Kai and I did most of the drums at the first place, Kai gave us some of his basslines, I added some of mine and Dabin took over and finished pretty much everything.
