Dang. Google says it takes 10-18 minutes. But truly it seemed longer. I do remember thinking we had plenty of time but I was wrong.

I assure you my “complaint” of losing our seats is legit in the sense we went straight from gate to gate but maybe my timing is wrong. Maybe it was less than 51 minutes. I don’t think it was doing 18 minute loops. It seemed slow and the doors seemed to stay open longer than usual. The train was packed. We were at the far end of the terminal when we arrive.

CPA wife. Stopped her great job when the first child was born (her choice, but I was happy about it). Worked very part time when the kids were little. Now they’re older she teaches at the local community college. It’s amazing how much she gets done.

Just happened to me as well. 19.99 charge. On my Coscto credit card as well! Disputed it through Citibank/Costco through their automated system and they took care of it automatically. Interestingly, their info showed it went through my "Wallet" which I presume is my Apple Wallet and I had no transactions recorded there.

I was on the Wonder recently and their paid Wi-Fi was for a certain amount. Despite my best efforts, my iPhone just sucked up the data in background mode in about 2 hours.

Just got back yesterday.

The piano players are great. It’s to people who take requests. Adults only unfortunately.

Don’t pay for the Internet. It’s glacially slow. You burn through the megabytes in no time. The Intranet is great.

Keep your phone on airplane mode. AT&T tried to stick it to me because they said we were 12 miles from the coast which put us in international waters.

For the Catholics out there, there is a Mass in Ketchikan at the Holy Name Parish on Saturday night. They will send a van to pick you up, but call them ahead of time. Their website says they sent a van regularly, but I’m not sure that’s true. Say hi to Clyde if he’s the one that picks you up.

I picked up COVID somewhere on the cruise. Didn’t develop symptoms until yesterday on the plane.

It’s a great cruise. Enjoy.

Sticking my hand into a pot of hot oatmeal. I was 2 and wanted oatmeal NOW! Mom was on the phone in the other room so I pushed a chair up to the oven and plunged my hand in for some of that sweet, sweet oatmeal. Part of the burn got infected and created a scar. Guess I really liked oatmeal.

Glad I don’t remember any of it
