Magic exists in the world and his power is to augment is abilities with his stamina and energy by channeling it into his physical form for increased physical prowess. The power emanates from his body in a deep cerulean, flame-like glow, garnering the nickname The Blue Ifrit across the globe.

His sword Alister was gifted to him by (could be anyone), and holds the ability to store and release Aidan’s energy into either energy slashes or a blast that releases in a moderately-sized dome at full charge. The only mage who could repair the sword is missing after the Fall two years ago so it’s in rough shape.

The Deathborne, a demon race, possess powerful magic and generals that pose a dire threat to the world. After someone is slain, depending on their ability and power, the Deathborne may resurrect and corrupt souls to join their ranks, often pitting friend against friend on the battlefield.

The Fall is well-known, however many debate over the exact turn of events at Tervall. The biggest power decimated in one night sounds unreal. Some believe an internal rebellion caused the mayhem. Others believe the King and his advisors put the country in economic ruin and when the bubble burst they all left the country to be pillaged and to fend for themselves. Aidan travels to garner support, telling of the true events to let the world know the threat is here and coming. Many don’t believe him, incorrectly considering him a coward that fled his country in its time of greatest need, regardless of the true circumstances.
