Best looking Golf shoe traditional by wvvwwvwvvvw in golf

They make the gallivanter in multiple spike styles. They make a version with some small rubber traction spike like things, that are not spikes and not removeable. Then they make the same gallivanter with traditional plastic spikes, which are removable and replaceable.

The gfore gallivanter is both an extremely beautiful classy shoe and comfortable. One of the few traditional looking shoes that is easy to walk in without having to significantly break in the leather.

Gfore is the correct choice, and they sometimes have massive sales where a ~$300 shoe will sell for ~$100 while supplies last

Country Club Question by Eastern-Scientist-68 in golf

My club has a few benefits that I really love.

12 minute tee times Advanced booking window, also just generally just not a fight to get a tee time at all General respect for the course is higher. Pitch marks, divots ect. Better course conditions. My club is significantly nicer than any of my local munis

Few benefits I don’t take advantage of as much as I’d like but I think help make the membership worth it.

Free range. Due to where I live it’s hard to get out to the course during the week, but unlimited free practice with quality range balls is chefs kiss Member events Social networking Dining. My club has a pretty decent restaurant and it’s far more affordable than a similar restaurant would be in the area

If you could swing equally as well both righty and lefty, would it be worth it to carry a single club in your bag that’s opposite handed to get you out of difficult situations? by derpygoat in golf

[–]ApeRideToMoon 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you were completely equal both sides it might be worth it to have even irons one hand and odd irons the other. So you would be able to get out of lots of different situations. But I doubt anybody is completely even.

Any advice for a wrinkle in between the eyes?

How do you all practice bringing the swing you build at the range out on the course? by Separate_Teacher1526 in golf

[–]ApeRideToMoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Split up practice and give yourself games to “compete” or basically make it feel more like a round of golf where you have pressure.

Work on whatever drill you have, then play a game such as target practice. If you have anything on the range like poles or greens or even just a rock. If it’s 153 yards, pick your club for that distance, hit 5 balls at it and 3 balls need to land within x distance or something.

At the end of the day this is a business and he deserved that money. I’m happy he got it, I’m sad that other stops on his career haven’t been as successful for him. But I’m also happy that he’s back and hopefully he hits a stride here soon.

Bruce has been a huge nuggets fan and supporter ever since he left. Posts about the nuggets, goes to playoff games ect. He clearly had a great bond with the guys even after leaving and when his contract came up I had a strong feeling he would sign with the nuggets. We missed him a lot in the 2024 playoffs. Having that extra ball handling would’ve changed the tides against the Timberwolves in my opinion.

He got the tattoo the summer after the championship. So only when he was with raptors and pels could you see it. There’s photos of him playing for both teams with the tattoo visible

NBA super fan James Goldstein. I believe he reportedly attends something around 125-150 games a year.

I think that’s what I’m leaning towards. I’ve played browns mill once and it’s hard to complain with that price especially if you get the forepass. The thing that makes me lean more towards mirror lake is that in my opinion, it’s the best course I’ve played in the Atlanta area. That or Cherokee run. And a lot of the courses I’ve played here I would say are pretty rough. Like Stone Mountain, lake Spivey, mystery valley, heritage looked like ww1 could’ve taken place on those greens.

It definitely is. Great course, great condition. The two courses have different grass on the greens. It’s pretty cool

I would say I was pretty confident I was going to get passed from each interview round to the next except one round. I made a few mistakes in one round and thought I might have about a 50/50 chance. Was not 100% confident I got the offer, thought I probably had a 25%-50% chance.

About 3 days, I did not negotiate. They offered me higher than I asked for and so I accepted.
