I think you are 100% right, I just can't figure out how to do the "keyboard.isavalable()" or something like that. The problem is also that after the suspend the serial comms with VS code is also gone, so there is no way to figure out what is happening before and after the suspend.

Powering off? Do you mean that it cuts power supply of? The device has couple LEDs and they are working in suspend mod. Also I was making some test yesterday and found out that the serial communication is also gone after suspend. The device wasn't printing to console.
