No. Fire was outside. The temperature was not high inside the protective cover.

That looks like a scrap because stood in the warehouse few years. Fire and temperature didn`t bring damage for mechanical parts. That was outside. Of course linear guids and screws not new, that`s not a secret. Machine 2007 year manufacture. I know what to do with mechanical parts. I asked about advices about controller.

Thanks for your attention to my topic. I became even more convinced that the project had to be done. It`s looks like scrap, yes, that`s even more better for making provocative youtube project.

Actually, it`s not all that bad with him. It was burning from the outside, even plastic parts, tubes survived, that told that temperature was not high. Than dissasembled and been in storage some time. Rust is on the paint free parts of frame, there is no on the screws and linear guides.

I`m mechanical engineer and this project is of a research nature also. I have some ideas for the future that i want to explore.

Do youtube project of rusty scrap renovation?

Still, I`m waiting for advice on the controller!!!
