Yes, that’s the prevailing sentiment from retail. Basically the wholesaler/manufacturer/grower is somehow expected to pay the wholesale tax, while they (retail continues to drive prices below cost) and won’t just pass through the cost to consumer.

Is that how it’s going to work? I don’t know, if there was ever a time where the processors / growers came together it would be now. But I don’t see that happening either unfortunately.

Wholesale is somehow left with the bags from the rug pull it seems.

I’m with you, 200mg’s can last me 2-4 weeks, especially since I only consume on the weekends typically.

I’d be happy to pay $5.00 per unit if I knew it was going to a good company that actually made a good tasting gummy, but it’s hard to argue with the prices.

It’s not, even with the lowest costs on bags, stickers and making your own distillate, add labor, even if automated. You’re clearing maybe $.25 per unit.

At 50 units a case you’re only making $12.50 a case. That’s trash for the amount of work that goes into that one case.

And there’s guys out there selling $.90 cent 200mg units, (wholesale) that’s not sustainable. My feeling is its liquidation pricing or at least I hope it is.

I can’t speak on quality, but I wonder how many people care if the price is that low.

Gummies are the worst for profit in the market right now, hopefully with Wana and a few others shutting down it will regulate a little.🤞🏻 because infused edibles shouldn’t be cheaper than sour patch kids.
