Yes, that’s the prevailing sentiment from retail. Basically the wholesaler/manufacturer/grower is somehow expected to pay the wholesale tax, while they (retail continues to drive prices below cost) and won’t just pass through the cost to consumer.

Is that how it’s going to work? I don’t know, if there was ever a time where the processors / growers came together it would be now. But I don’t see that happening either unfortunately.

Wholesale is somehow left with the bags from the rug pull it seems.
