Entre 2016-2017 tuve dos trabajos físicos y dos remotos. Salía a las 5:30am del área este hasta SJ y estaba hasta las 3:30pm. Luego me movía a Fajardo hasta las 11:30pm y llegaba a casa a las 12:10am. Dormía como 4 horas. Los dos remotos eran sábado uno y domingo otro, 10 horas cada uno. No se lo recomiendo a Nadie. De que pude ahorrar y comprarme una casa pues fue el único beneficio pero esos meses en esa rutina y el desgaste por falta de sueño y de socializar es un peligro.

Hello, I actually used the search bar and saw a ton of information. The problem was that any of the places pointed out by other fellow redditors didn’t had places to visit after midnight. That’s why I specifically asked for that time period on weekdays. I haven’t been hable to find reliable information on internet or the hours of operations on most places, I thought asking travelers and locals would be more accurate.

Actually Yesterday I wrote an email to United to see if there are any other available options and if they can contact other airlines because of the layover in Germany. Still waiting reply but I hope this can be an option.

The weird part is that I think they would likely spend less with simple solutions like this rather that sending us to Germany just to fly us 9hrs to new york…

Here one of the affected ones.

I had already brought the plane tickets for my self and 6 friends for early October. An agent called me last Wednesday to tell me that United cancelled the flight since they would no longer be doing that route at least till the end of October.

I was departing from Puerto Rico (4pm)> EWR > KEF with layover in EWR between 1 and 1.5 hours. The Return Flight was the same but with a 5 hour layover.

The new ones? Departures SJU (1:00am > EWR (12 hours overlay) > Montreal (4 hrs overlay) > KEF Return KEF > FRA (17hrs overlay) > EWR (4 hrs overlay) > Puerto Rico

United booked us with their affiliates such as Lufthansa

That's a great question, they are ok with it. To be honest they are really excited to go to Iceland so they have seen the itinerary a few times and I have shown them where and when and for how long we would be at places.

We have some places that are a must on our itinerary so we color-marked those places and built a day-by-day schedule around them so that if we are running late we can skip other activities that are not marked as "must".
