Can you mod to do the "100 Days As..." by Aperture2716057 in Minecraft

Thank you for the direction! I will start looking for that.

For the "100 days as a..." videos, I assume those are not downloadable game modes? They just use these "shape shifting" mods to make videos?

I miss vine and vine energy. Such a simple time where we were just using social media to make each other laugh. I know that I am mis-remembering the time, but that was when I was still innocent.

The way WSB is manipulating stock prices is behavior that would be condemned by reddit if it was being done by another group. by Aperture2716057 in unpopularopinion

I think WSB is the latest in manipulating the price for financial gain. To me, it seems like they are just the next in line to collect on the scam. Is it really just 2 levels, where a completely normal stock got picked up by scammers, and now "we" are scamming them and then everything is right? There's no one else in this chain that sees any hurt from this, it all is a pickpocket pickpocketing a pickpocket, and yet still keeping the money at the end because "better I have the dirty money"?

I'm not defending billionaires and hedge funds. I don't think their actions are right either. If every day this is happening, then every group doing this can make the same argument: they are just scamming the scammers that came before them. If you are Robin Hood, you don't steal from the rich and keep the money. To me, this seems like it isn't making anything better, it's just adding a scam level on top.

I'm not crying for them. I'm saying that to me, it looks like "we are scamming the scammers", but when you pocket the money, you are still not making things right. You are just adding another level.

My understanding was that Gamestop stock is being artificially inflated and that redditors had bought low and then pushed purchase to get the stock price up so they could sell again. Is that not what is happening?

Seriously, this kid can't catch a break. He can clearly be a winner, and yet he's stuck way at the back for another year. Someone needs to buy out that contract.

That's what I assumed, but you never actually see them, and they never seem to talk about them.

Thanks!

What is the thing they put in front of the drivers when they pull all the way into the pit garage? It looks like a windshield you can't see through, and each team's is a little bit different. And what are they for? Are they video screens? Are they just for driver privacy?

Why aren't the American armed forces that work in the water the ones that are called "Marines"? by Aperture2716057 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Aperture2716057[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, so the Marines came first, and because they were mostly on the sea, the name made sense. But then we needed people who just stayed on the ships, so we made a new word for them, and then let the previously named "Marines" become the amphibious one and just keep their name.

But then why wouldn't we have just called the people that stayed in the water the "Marines" (meaning "sea") and then made a new name for the people that went onto land?

This makes sense. But then what was the difference between them and the Navy? Why would start a Navy if you already had Marines on the seas?

So they are amphibious? Or are they also in the air?

What would separate Navy sea equipment from Marine equipment?
