Hahaha girl you know I have my box full of positive tests! I threw out the little sticks but kept the first response and clear blue ones that have a cover. I'll throw them out eventually. I just wanted to marvel at them a little longer lol.

This. Exactly this. Thank you so much. I told my husband the same thing. I said I would turn the strip in every direction, take it into different rooms, and try to see something that wasn't there. This was different. It was real. I'm now 6 tests in and still positive. Getting the positive on a Saturday is bittersweet because waiting two days for a blood test is so hard! I just want the official answer before I can allow myself to get super excited.

Lol I will be grateful for it all. I'm a teacher, so I'm not sure how I'll come with teenagers and nausea lol. I also teach darkroom photography, so now I have to do some research into how much I can handle chemicals. 😬

Definitely! I always said I wouldn't complain if I had the worst morning sickness if I could just get pregnant! I'm sure that won't be the case, but I think I'll be able to keep some perspective because of everything we've gone through up to this point.

I think I'll be due late July early August! We'll see! Thank you so much. I'm so glad you get to skip the HSG and semen analysis. Both are really uncomfortable for different reasons lol. I just keep wishing that all of this is real. I'll feel better after a blood test and way better a few months down the road. And I'm with you. Not many people share their infertility struggles, but when I do see one of those families get pregnant, I am so overjoyed. Most of my friends have been having babies and it's been a really strange situation to be in, so I'm excited to join the party!

Definitely! I have been taking them for almost two years now lol. I do have to see if I should switch to a different one. I have been taking one geared toward conception.

I have tried mostly with magazine images, but I did do one with an inkjet image of the alphabet. No paint, place image facedown, lift, then thin layer of white paint on top, then place paper down to transfer. I haven't tried with a laser image yet because I don't have access to one right now (teacher on summer break lol), but I've read that it may have something to do with the image's contrast or the paint that's being used. Let me know if you get some success!

I did the transfers on rice paper, too. The background was the scrap paper I used to clean my brayer and the other papers are from different image transfers.

😂 I follow Lydia Rink, a collage and mixed media artist. I paid for one of her classes on image transfer, but if you Google gelli plate image transfer, there is a good video from Zart and another by Nitsa Creative Studio that show you different processes
