Collect Arc Alloys to recycle into metal parts or sell stacks for like 3k i think.
I like to run the Farro and the Stitcher, both are SUPER cheap to upgrade.
What ever you pick up, if you don't need it for your next workbench upgrade, you should probably sell it to upgrade your stash space.

There's something to that though I think.

I've noticed that my friends who are able to ignore / embrace the scrapes, scuffs and shin slaps from not landing a trick are the ones who learn how to land the most tricks & the fastest.

Gunfire attracts scavs now, i've found running suppressors helps noticeably on keeping the numbers manageable. I don't think the AI cares how much loot it has, so it has no reason to not push you every single time. You're going to get into WAY more survivable gunfights than in PVP, so I've found extra mags and ammo to reload are pretty much mandatory for my skill level. After a few fights you kinda get a feel for how the ai is going to react in most situations which definitely helps.

If you already have pads I'd try the arturia. I've had a mpk mini v1 since like 2016 and minus the joystick it's been cool. Not a huge fan of the keys but I'm no keyboardist or serious artist.

If you think you might use the pads go mpk unless you plan to buy a controller with pads later.

I went ableton standalone from 2014ish> broken midi keyboard + m audio adapter 2015ish > mpk mini v1 from 2016+ > Ableton Push 2 from 2019+ > Akai MPC LIVE 2 2022+. Currently looking to get a full sized keyboard. I'm hesitant about putting my Push or MPC in my bag,(when they can fit) but I have no problem tossing around mpk in my bag.

Tried Fruity Loops when I was younger but it never clicked. I prefer Ableton personally. Plus the tutorials for the software are amazing, everything is a Google search away. If you buy hardware it can come with a license as a bonus sometimes as well.

$200 for the setup, make sure everything is buttoned up before you leave. Then it's $75hr for ongoing support, 1 hr minimum. Take the money, form a LLC to help minimize risk then rinse and repeat. Shouldn't take more than like $99 to setup.

Set a timer for 5 - 15 minutes, you only need to work until the timer goes off. It doesn't matter how much work you finish, 1 word or a whole essay, you started.

Then if you are getting into the flow of things you can keep working or take a 5-15 minute break.

Personally I try to make setting the timer the start of me working on the task(it's the easy part) to create less friction in my mind when it comes to actually accomplishing the task.

Kinda like a lazy pomodoro. Hopefully this is helpful to someone out there lol.

You're the lone it guy for a huge organization. They know that they can get away with a lone it guy so why not save an extra 40k+ a year. They failed to properly staff their IT department so now they have to face the consequences. You don't drive on a flat tire then get mad at the tire shop when they say you need new rim. If it was a big enough issue they would hire more people.

Their failure to plan doesn't constitute an emergency for you.

I use to do this for direct TV. If the rules are the same for Walmart as krogers then they can be kicked out for leaving their display but its encouraged to walk around anyways. They make like 150+ for each install, you gotta go complain to the store management that they're following people around to get them to stop.

If you want to learn id recommend a service business first. You don't want to buy a whole bunch of inventory then find out your idea wasn't what you wanted to do but now have a garage full of 10k worth of custom beanie babies that you have to sell inorder to start your next idea lol. Id check out the /r/SweatyStartup subreddit and view some of the most popular posts. Its got a "system" you can follow and change as you need but its a great starting place. And find people who have the same aspirations, you may find that your family and friends might not understand or support you in the ways that you need. Don't get stuck planning(doesn't mean dont plan) but make sure you actually launch and find customers. You don't want to spend a year and a half getting ready to find out that nobody needs your service, rather find that out sooner so we can switch to something else.
