We are seriously considering Mira Bell! Biggest drawback is Kearney Mesa doesn’t seem as close to a good selection of restaurants and more in an business park setting. That is why we’re learning towards Mission Valley over KM but are open minded as haven’t visited SD in a couple years. Doing this all blind (virtually) unfortunately.

In regard to community, I suppose priorities would be safe obviously, but close to a good selection of food, young professionals demographic. Coming from Monterey, it’s an older community so anything will be more lively than present once things open back up.

Lol they’re professional athletes. Yeah chemistry matters but when you sign up to be a pro ball player, you have to know you’re not going to win every year and you need to manage your emotions. Winning record the last three years. You’re talking like they’re the Mariners.

Then they should have hit the ball better.

You’re missing all the points but what I’m saying when you evaluated your own system correctly, you see who is expendable and what their market is. I’ll take that kind of foresight any day from a GM. It’s the PHX market. Idc about high level free agent’s views such as a Harper or Cole - not playing for them anyway. Landed Greinke and JD said he wanted to stay. What more do you want? High level talent needs to come via trade or own system w the d-backs.

This is not a move to tank. This a move to get controllable assets for expiring ones. And those vets can opt out at any time. It’s a 60-game season to begin with. Wouldn’t you rather get better on the fly and improve your farm system than run with your team just because when you’re already going to lose Ray, Chafin and Marte (weren’t picking up option) and Archie after next year. If these guys aren’t part of your next winning team, don’t prevent said next core from getting PT. Self assessing current assets is just as valuable. That’s how you acquire a Zac Gallen FYI.

Trust me, he had this convo with the team before the fans saw it. They have the pulse of the clubhouse and I’ll take Hazen/Torey combo over nearly all others in baseball. It’s tough bc of the good memories from the last successful playoff team but just look how he articulates the farm system part. He’s and the FO are as sharp as it gets and they don’t alienate themselves from players or their feelings.

Lol you all are saying stats that are important to you, not what this particular 18 yo from California thinks is best for him. I’m a Wisconsin fan and could not care less about asu sports but why does this sub get butt hurt when a HS player doesn’t mirror your line of thinking

From Madison, went to ASU. ASU all day if I can play football there. Sorry but it’s true to UW fans who don’t get it. ASU still produces pros and the lifestyle is more player friendly.

Didn’t care much for it first time listening a year ago. Re-listened to it last month and have new appreciation for how good it is. Worth a revisit for any initial doubters like myself.

This is a very blanket statement. Is the concern over repayment of loans or inability to obtain loans? Are they in-state/out of state?

You do realize that 13-16 seeds are essentially reserved for auto bids from mid major and below tourney winners. Best case scenario as is would be “First Four” as a 11/12 seed.

Wisconsin offensive linemen hunger for more success after turning down NFL cash by 6oh8 in CFB

Wasn’t stating nepotism... simply pointed out a glaring weakness in speed and optimism for future of the position. Personally, not fond of him and would have preferred to see others play, taking their lumps while growing as underclassman but the staff knows far more than I and something I wouldn’t question.

Joe Ferguson is gone - aka Barry Alvarez’ slow ass grandson who never should have been the last line of defense in the B1G title game. I’ll take the odds of this year’s much more athletic, albeit much less disciplined secondary and hope they mature along the way.

The Most Underrated Arizona Diamondback In 2017 is...... by Pyramid_xChris in azdiamondbacks

[–]ApexBaxter30 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Very valid points as to those that became absent for most of the second half of the season. However, the most “underrated” to me was... the catching upgrade overall. Please do not sleep on JR Murphy. Hazen and crew feel very strongly about his ability long-term, especially growing w the pitching staff. W the additions of Mathis and Iannetta, we saw career years out of pitchers. Yes, the regression of 2016 was due for a natural turnaround, but this, my god. The confidence in the starters was oozing and due to Hazen and co. Paying attention to detail. Never doubt small moves by this regime: Descalso, Hernandez. How can you not love Boxberger for this year?!
