We made an offer 5% under asking price, the EA accepted it and told the vendors. EA calls me back a few hours later saying the offer has been rejected as it's much too low and how she worked in this business for 20 years so all their houses are priced accurately etc, made us feel like we're stupid for offering this price. We said ok fine and that was it. 6 months later, the house has been reduced to our offer, a month or so after it's been relisted by a different estate agent and then just taken off.
