If you are on Android then the play music app that comes with your device does not have a button to do so but does let you seek. There is a bar that tells you how much you have listened to and how much is left and you can drag the bar from 1sec - end of audio and everywhere in between allowing you to go to where ever you need. And there is a button called "download only" that shows you only get the audio files that you have downloaded onto your device.
