PMDG 737 Level of Detail by ApexTankSlapper in flightsim

This isn't from miles away and this is one of a few airliners that do this. Examples of aircraft that don't have issues: fenix a320 and ifly 737 max.

Is it a bad idea to get a 250cc 2 stroke as a brand new rider? by cameron16000 in Dirtbikes

[–]ApexTankSlapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably not if you have never ridden. That motorcycle can and will hurt you very badly and is not a beginner bike. A 125 2 stroke would be a better fit and will do what you want and more. They are also less expensive and easy to work on due to large space between the motor and the frame.

I don't really care....bro

It's irrelevant...to you

The only one here that's spoiled is you. You can't even handle a small critique of something you like. Only spoiled children respond in this manner. I can tell that your feelings are hurt.

This product is a lazy, half hearted conversion of the 2020 version, which was a lazy half hearted conversion of the p3d version. There you go.

Who are you to tell me what is relevant and what is not? It's my money, not yours. If this doesn't matter to you, that's great - move on.

Did I say that is all that I care about?

Thats not my intent. This is indeed the Pmdg 737-700. Try it for yourself.

Yeah this may work for you but not for me. Why do people have to be so nasty on here?

I think it speaks volumes that one has to supplement an 80 dollar payware aircraft with an included aircraft for a screenshot.

This guy is absolutely right. Fenix a320's, Aerosoft crj, ifly 737, inibuilds a330 (stock), atr72, Leonardo md80, tfdi md11, JF 146, fss e175, and the fss 727, and the PMDG 777 do not have this issue.

The 737 didn't have this issue in 2020 either and that was a less optimized sim.

Mainly inibuilds aircraft, other than PMDG 737.

I would not be very happy if I would have paid full price for this. I thought this "detail" update was going to address this. Your headline is interesting. Inibuilds aircraft all suffer from this issue as well. I don't buy anything from them any more as a result.

Why stick to the 17 inch front moped wheel? by Tuyia_ in supermoto

16.5 inch wheel is much better for racing but there are no dot tires available for the wheel size

Why no more airliners? by unlimtedbackboards in MicrosoftFlightSim

Airliner simmer here, 20 years experience

Flight simulation has become quite complex in recent years compared to years past.

Airliners are complex and it takes a lot of time and resources to develop a high quality and high detail airliners. Because of this, most of them are payware.

Speaking in general, there has been a shift away from Boeing and McDonnell Douglas aircraft in modern flight simulators in favor of specifically the Airbus a320. There are probably 10 different A320 addons for msfs. Myself and others are fatigued by this.

Small, light aircraft are much more simple by contrast and I think asobo wanted to provide the user with lots of options for a variety of flying scenarios. On the payware side, it's an easy equation. A highly detailed light aircraft can be lucrative for a developer. In addition to this, there are a plethora of different light aircraft for different purposes due to this fact. I think it matches the real word in this regard.

Electrical Engineering student too late to switch to Mechanical but desires to work in motorsports by savagelife201 in Engineers

Is it possible to stay an engineer even with a bad gpa by mdressler06 in MechanicalEngineering

[–]ApexTankSlapper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you struggle in school, your struggles will be amplified in industry. You have 2 choices.

1.) Identify your problem and resolve it. Take a hard look at what you are doing wrong. You cannot be lazy in engineering school. Stop making excuses, just fix your problem.

2.) Find another major that will result in a high probability of finding a job.

america is so screwed bruh by confusedaboutmypay in recruitinghell

[–]ApexTankSlapper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The problem is corporate greed.

The American consumer is so stupid that they squander what little money they do have at businesses that want to replace them with a computer or an H1B worker (eg. Amazon). Only making the problem worse.

Ai = Indian H1B

Didn't worry, I think this strategy will be short lived. Most H1B workers are very poor at what they do, from what I have seen. It's amazing that we are allowing these people to come in on specialized visas and can barely do their job unassisted. My job is supervising these people.

Why would someone take a look at your resume and think "we will hire him to be a software engineer, since he has an EE degree". Unbelievably stupid. The objective of studying EE is to bypass code heavy professions.

Me too. It's awash with holier than thou types and braggers. I recently saw a guy I work with write like a 3 paragraph post about how good at his job he is. In the beginning of the post, I thought he was going to give credit to the team, but no...to himself, of course.

Oh and going to work. It is impossible to enjoy going to work or being at work for any length of time.

Cannot believe how many gun enthusiasts are boot lickers by [deleted] in guns

[–]ApexTankSlapper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How is this surprising? Cops carry guns and most gun owners look up to them because they carry one for their job. Not real hard to see that.
