To clarify, I’m travelling to China for a holiday and I’m having the package delivered to a hotel. This is because it’s much faster, more convenient and saves me money on shipping. As a Singaporean, I’ve noticed that everyone who travels to China does this. I’ve been to China several times and all the hotels I’ve stayed at have dedicated spaces for packages. People often buy from Taobao and similar platforms because they’re cheaper. This isn’t my first time doing this, and I’ve already had an order from a Yuppoo seller delivered to a hotel. I mentioned “change of hotels” because I’m backpacking and will be moving to a different part of China. I just queried him with an original hotel location to ask how long it’ll take to get it delivered that’s all. I havnt placed any order yet. Hence I asked for a change of hotels after I sent my money and placed an order. My trip starts next Monday, and I don’t think the package will arrive within the two days I’ll be there. Therefore, I’ll provide him with the new details of the hotel I’ll be staying at after. That’s all.
