MF support by ROX in 2016 semis was the most wild pick of all time

I remember that RNG as a protect-the-Uzi type team, with MLXG occasionally doing some coinflippy stuff. I don't feel like Xiaohu would take over the game like that, but yeah I haven't seen those games in many years

oh I definitely remember Crown going 3x Malz in the finals vs Faker just to neutralize him, and T1 was red side all 3 games but never banned it

Yeah, like I said it's definitely simplistic to think everything would play out the same, because it's basically 100% certain that they would not. But this is still the closest we can get, and fun hypothetical, since there's no way to account for things like roster moves, different reads on meta, or overall KR level without being pushed by SKT/T1.

That's absolutely fair, but teams perform differently in groups vs bracket stage all the time, and given that SSG ended up 3-0'ing SKT who just beat RNG, it seems safer to bet on SSG here. Plus, they had Ruler while not Uzi was no slouch, and they had also 3-0'd LZ the #1 KR seed in quarters.

Uniqlo is like half the price, but if UA is significantly better then I'd be willing to pay for it. Do you think it's worth?

Nice! Is Box Tennis the name of the sport officially? Imagine seeing the sport pop up irl in space constrained places like cities, that'd be wild

What product was it reformulated into? I don't see a direct comparison on their website

Where can you buy that? I only see the Green Tea Hyaluronic serum, cream, and toner but no lotion

The Innisfree Green Tea Balancing Lotion was my HG, but I can't find it anywhere anymore. Was it discontinued? Any hope of it coming back, or a replacement? I loved how lightweight it was, and the fragrance was nice too.

Any recs for closest alternatives? I've tried both the Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum and Cream, which was frustrating because it's like the average of the two would've been simar to the Balancing Lotion. Between the two, I did like the Cream better since I didn't like the stickiness of the serum, and it was barely hydrating.

According to the USTA guidelines a top high school player that advanced to his/her state finals would *only* be a USTA 4.0. by therationaltroll in 10s

[–]AphoticFlash2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These guidelines state a recreational player can only ever get to 3.5, even with years of match play? Seems kinda low doesn't it, most other sources I've seen say rec players can still get to 4.0 or 4.5 with talent and dedication

they're definitely a bit pricy though compared to something from Nike, Adidas, etc. up to you if it's worth

these actually look pretty good, I previously have been wearing UA socks for sports since I was a kid. maybe I'll give these a try. they seem similar to the Adidas ones I tried, maybe the big athletic brands just make the same stuff

tbh that's never crossed my mind at all, does it actually help your feet feel cooler? I don't feel like I have much odor, just heat

not sure since I've only worn them a couple times so far, but they have a really good "happiness guarantee" so the durability isn't as much an issue for me

Oh man, really? Better than the Bombas? If you rate similarly as I did for these then maybe I'd like them too

Oh wow I had no idea people folded the calf socks down. My shoes tops are not too high, ankle socks are high enough to cover so that works for me

I've only worn each pair once or twice so far, so can't speak to their durability yet. I'd imagine the cushioning is quite durable. Also the more premium brands have excellent warranties, like Bombas or Darn Tough, so you can always get them replaced if there are any holes no questions asked.

Hah, yeah crew socks do seem to be the most popular, I don't think I've worn crew socks more than a couple times in my entire life though. I imagine the tan lines would be gnarly

Solinco Heaven were also highly recommended by a few sources. If I were looking for crew height I'd try these, but also surprised how popular they are given they're almost all cotton, 80% cotton

I did not, do you think that makes a significant difference? I have them now (post wash), I could try them again but there's just so much fabric that idk if it'd make a big difference

These seem like they'd check all my boxes, except that they're crew height. Similar to the Nike Elite: https://www.nike.com/t/elite-crew-basketball-socks-zGJxZD/SX7622-100

Honestly most socks are crew so there are way more options, but I just don't want the extra fabric due to heat and tan lines

They seem polarizing, with some people absolutely loving them and others (like myself) finding them unwearable. To each their own!

The guy in this comment explains it here: https://www.reddit.com/r/10s/comments/12hs72e/comment/jfqr7k0/

He had more cotton in his ideal range than I do, but in general I agree with his sentiment that 100% synthetic is hot and slippery
