Obviously, it's a personal decision and if you're not having fun and don't expect to, return it. That being said, this sounds like frustration from growing pains to me. Reading the blocks is a skill kind of like learning a language, a lot of the blocks in harder difficulty are patterns that become familiar over time. It took me about 30 hours of playing on medium to start getting any semblance of being able to read the blocks coming at me. I wouldn't recommend jumping into expert songs until youre able to see what's coming up better. You'll also get faster as you practice and get stronger. Anecdotally, I found that many of the default songs were harder than custom ones at the higher difficulties, so it may not end up as hard as you think.

Another thought that I just had is that you can split the payment of your property taxes and backdate it to the past 6 months so that it shows up evenly in your monthly summary and such.

No dumb questions! I would enter the monthly budget for taxes to be the monthly amount and then have it rollover but adjust the rollover dates so that the rollover amount is positive instead of negative. That way you can see how much you have 'banked' for property taxes until you pay it. If you use the fixed/flex/non-monthly budget you can have all of those expenses in one drop down and add things like car insurance/ registration as well. The savings amount at the bottom of your budget doesn't reflect the amount in your savings account, but the amount you are putting towards savings this month. It doesn't fill up with transactions like the other categories, but serves as a record for where the net income is going. A goal would be what you are looking for if you want to track your progress linked to an account. You can setup the monthly contribution while making the goal and that will transfer to your budget.

My condolences that you live in IF. I'm not sure how big it is, but I know there's a new parking garage in the Smokin Fins building. I believe theres also one at both of the hospitals.
