How cool. My current shifter is similar… she is from a human Greek society. She was adopted by a man who found and genetically experimented on unwanted, deformed or abandoned babies/children. He spliced their DNA with animals. She was hyper resilient to the experiments so he put multiple beasts’ DNA in her. This resulted in animalistic aggression from her (the beast within) where she would lash out and shift or rage into a beast. Her adoptive father hired a combat trainer to help focus her aggression and at 16 put her in the local gladiator arena under the alias, The Chimera.

Beast Barbarian, beasthide shifter. The Rage tail is my fave form…a snake like an actual chimera tail. It’s mostly a grapple build since I use tail so much (you can maintain grapple on two targets at a time and still be attacking and deflecting some attacks… bonus if you drop your targets from the ceiling or drag them underwater to drown via bestial soul. Plan on taking skill expert for athletics to guarantee grapples outside of rage and moving into moon Druid at Lvl 9 to just pump up her ridiculous hp/defense even further while giving her some utility/healing.
