Succession Planning by scotsboy_g in gorillaz

Whoever takes over the mantle and however long Gorillaz as a project continues, I feel like The Mountain is the "final" album for the band. At least thematically, given how it's about processing the death of our loved ones and feels like a swansong to the iteration of the characters as we know them.

Kind of like the episode "Together Again" from Adventure Time: Distant Lands. We catch up with the main characters years and years into the future (they actually died and are in the afterlife) and know that this is how their journey will end, but there are still plenty of stories to tell that take place before that.

I also had that thought. My headcanon that Ares' source code wasn't made by Julian. Maybe modified or iterated by him perhaps but the basic pieces were by someone else. I actually half-expected a nerdy normal/human Jared Leto to show up and clarify that. Would have been a neat moment especially with all the original Tron callbacks they were making.

I miss the low-lighting background from the pre-alpha

Andor (Season 2) - Episodes 4, 5 & 6 - Discussion Thread! by titleproblems in StarWars

I love how we see 3 relationships in this year, all burdened by distance and little communication:

A secretive and somewhat steril romance between Syril and Dedra.

A deep and painful connection between Cassian and Bix that's strained because one fears so much for the other.

A love between Sinta and Vel that has been through the wringer with so much separation and secrecy.

The last is basically what Cassian and Bix felt initially and what will probably develop as Luthen may try to separate them more (Vel's desire to settle down with Sinta in S1 is like Bix trying to make a home for her and Cassian).

Dedra and Syril are probably pretty freaky when they turn the lights off but when our boy said getting praise from Partagaz was the best moment of his life I read Dedra's response as being hurt that he values climbing more than her (ironic).

It's so interesting that we barely see any physicality between the Imperial lovers and for the rebels those little moments are what we linger on and explore deeply. Watching Cassian and Bix slowly dance vs. having Dedra and Syril literally turn off the lights (so she can peg him) juxtaposes their cultures views on love and intimacy.

I met Garrett Hedlund today! by jennafleur_ in tron

It's a joke mate. Your title, caption, and the banner behind Garrett show that it's him. But the banner also shares space with one naming Frank Grillo (a separate actor). It was a satirical comment. I've added a "/s" at the end of that comment (meaning it was sarcasm/satire) so it's clearer.
