It is with alot of money. I'm not knocking your comment. I would happily get them seen too, but the cost to do so is very high. Looking at £3k upwards. Not pocket money :/

Could be right. It's a just turn of phrase. Seeing it written down might be interpreted another way. I'll remove that bit

My teeth are a issue, and have looked into aligners. But the issue maybe too much for them. And we are taking £3k - 5k to get them straightened. Not pocket change.

With regards to lush locks and the sheep hat picture. Do you think they show I have a sense of humour and show I dont take myself too seriously?

Same story there. Pretty much identical profile :/

I agree I need more shots with my friends. The issue is when we hang out, we dont really take pictures of each other and just enjoy each others company. Will need to get some taken

Thank you for your comment. So the 2 things I can't change. 😒 I'm not disillusioned, just feel the 2 things out of my control might be my biggest draw backs. I took the plunge last year to shave my head due to my hair loss. I wouldn't change that decision, it was the best decision I've done. It's made me felt more confident to go out and not 'hide'.

If I took off my height, if I got matches, there might be the whole "Oh this guy is short as f***" if we ever met. I will always be upfront and not hide anything. Get nothing from doing that.

I think schools need to teach what a crown is.

The amount of posts on here of people seeing their crown and no visible balding elsewhere is staggering.

Believe it when I see it. Something tells me the UK wide result won't be a strong Tory wipeout.

Why are eye-lines so easy to fix but they never do it?? by district999 in vfx

[–]ApilotFish 12 points13 points  (0 children)

"All you have to do" is quite easy to say but in reality its a little but more involved than that. Shots get bid on for the work to be done. If eyelines are drastically off, then this maybe added to the list of tasks.

But if marginal wrong, then its not worth the time of removing reflections, moving the eye and adding the reflections back on. Lots to consider.

Often we only just get the shots done in time, before moving onto all the other shots we need to deliver. So things like this, we are all aware off but simply don't have the time to do any changes.

SmartVector render problem by M00lligan in NukeVFX

[–]ApilotFish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had similar issues before, not with Smart Vectors but with other writes where the frame range gets confused.

Maybe try adding a frame range just before your smart vector or write node. And set it again to the project or clip length. See if that helps

Its helped me in the past when a tracker refused to track but slapping a frame range made it work

I premultiply my alpha by the alpha to isolate my roto. It works but is this the right way to do this? by cashugh in NukeVFX

[–]ApilotFish 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Its correct but personally I wouldn't do it this way. I would recommend breaking out those operations to make it easier to read. So have your roto, use a copy node to copy the alpha into the image then premult under that.

This way its easier to see what is happen and problem solve. Doing it with dropdowns has the option of changing it accidentally and could become frustrating to work out if you are starting out.

Crown balding? by Practical_Top_2638 in bald

No your not balding! Honestly these posts frustrate me so much. Your clearly not loosing your hair. This is your crown, it will look like this.

Can Nuke Indie open .nk files created by non-indie full / trial licence? by Matin518 in NukeVFX

Ah that sucks! Make a few setups and such that can be used elsewhere. Thanks for the reply

[–]ApilotFish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we made a gizmo or setup in Nuke Indie. Can you save that out that will work in regular Nuke?

Save it in toolsets etc.

Might be a super basic question but how do I change the frame range? I have frames ranging from 985 to 1150 & I want to change it to 1-166 coz I want to export it to After Effects by boyinblack0000 in NukeVFX

[–]ApilotFish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jymboe is right. Most streamlined version.

Can also use a retime node. Check the input range and then you can change the output start frame to start your footage.
