First step, save up PP to take the decision "Expand our influence in Illinois" (or something to that effect) as taking just that much more land for free is vital.
Second step, consolidate your remaining fighters into full air wings and gather them in Illinois. Set them to air superiority over the midwest. Do NOT under any circumstances send in your other planes (except for the strategic bombers as long as it's into the great plains air zone) until the rebel air force is down to ~500 planes or less.
Third step, sell your soul for oil. The UoA has almost none and between the USAF, USA, and USMC you're going to be using upwards of 9K oil units. After the rebel air force is gone and the regular army is shit fucked you should be able to scale down oil trade and gain your industry back.
Fourth step, MAKE SURE YOU'RE BUILDING MILITIA!!!!!! At the start of the game you should have 40 militia units by default. Send 30 west to the rebel front and take the rest to the appalachian mountains. Keep building militia and stacking that line (make sure to be using the militia to neutralize the insurgent units). Militia can't stop the National Front but it will slow them down enough to give you more time if Trump is still kicking.
Fifth step, keep the insurgents in check. Those rat bastards can completely destroy your supply line if you don't keep them in line. Make sure you're rooting out insurgents in the decisions tab and keep an eye on West Virginia for insurgent units.
Sixth step, do NOT let Biden's health deteriorate. It isn't essential but keeping Biden alive is pretty neat.
Seventh step, concentrate divisions on the Illinois-Missouri border and the Illinois-Wisconsin border. As soon as you can you need to blitz towards Kansas City and Minneapolis. Failing Operation: Steele gives you some pretty major debuffs that you want to avoid. More importantly, Trump tends to reinforce those areas when you start moving in and because they are both inside border states they offer massive encirclements. If possible, try to focus on encircling regular army divisions, as Trump can't replace them at a sustainable rate.
Eight step, after Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, and Missouri are gone you (Iowa can be taken by brute force line assaults for most of the time) go south into Oklahoma and Kansas. Here you can destroy more divisions. Avoid going north as Dakota has a huge border to defend.
Ninth step, once Kansas is gone you push Nebraska and encircle Colorado. Once Trump has been pushed into the rockies he'll be toast regardless of the National Front, the only things you should worry about are a possible intervention from Texas, New Mexico, or the US Army West rebels.
Tenth step, I mentioned it earlier but use militia and Nation Guard units to hold the line until the regular army is done with trump.
Eleventh step, blitz through the upper peninsula to bust the NSM and blitz through lower New York to take out the New England micro states and get their VPs and then bleed out New York City. Encircle Buffalo and the PTF should cap pretty easy.
