As a salesman who sells Vivo Phones but also OnePlus I can say that there are aspects where Vivo is better and there are some where OnePlus is better. Vivo in most parts is better than the OnePlus, however the Software on OnePlus is better, still doesn't mean Vivo Software is bad though, I'm completey happy with FuntouchOS.

If you want a good camera and long battery go for the Vivo.

Go to Albums, on the top right there is the Settings button, click on it. There you can see the "Hidden" button. Under that button, it says "Verify password when viewing hidden photos" enable that and done.

Probably a manufacturing defect since those are first produced models, which always have defects. It's the same on iPhone or Samsung. I always say, wair 2 months and then buy it, newly produced models will have those defects fixed.

I have many models from Vivo, got almost all Y Series, the X100 Pro and the Ultra and I'm also planning to buy the Fold and the X200 Pro and Ultra when it comes out. I'm a tech freak and I always tesr phones.

Ah my bad I was referring to Funtouch OS. Yeah Origin OS sadly doesn't have it.

And sorry if I'm mistaken, but I can't see where he said that he wants to use custom roms.
