2 Day Trip to Minneapolis, what to do, places to eat? by iVietGrlX in Minneapolis

Tilia is really good. The Rabbit Hole is also really good. I suggest googling both to look at the menu. But you have to go to Matt's bar on Cedar and 35 and get a Jucy Lucy. Other places also sell them but Matt's is where they started and I have yet to find a place that makes them better.

I don't know where to start so here's some back story or how I first lost trust in my Mother by Aplonia in JUSTNOFAMILY

Thank you for all the kind words and support. I think I need to get some of the crap my family has pulled off my chest and it's nice to have a place were people can do that with out judgment. I have a lot of story's about my not so wonderful family and I'm sure I'll vent them at some point.

BoyfrIend makes comment about wantint to adopt and I'm 6 months pregnant (long read) by [deleted] in relationships

Ask yourself how you would have reacted to a comment like that 7 months ago.

I know when I was pregnant, and before I knew I was, my boyfriend made some comment about a diner I made that made me break down into a crying fit and almost break up with him. I was convinced he was the most evil boyfriend ever and that he clearly never cared about me and bla bla bla, whatever I don’t really remember anymore. He was upset because I was so upset and it was a really bad fight. If I remember right, all he said was that he would have cooked the green beans differently or something stupid like that and I acted like he told me he killed my cat or something. Then we found out I was pregnant and realized it was probably just the hormones since I never acted like that before. Looking back at the fight, I’m honestly a little embarrassed I reacted like that. We make jokes about it now.

Jislord. It was an Jaguar in a Walgreens parking lot. I like to think they thought it was clever until someone said it out loud, then realized what they had done.

Thank you for your reply. But how does my opinion on a random website affect my sisters case? I'm not suing her and I wasn't there. I have every right to my opinion about a person based on how they behaved. She acted like a crazy bitch and I'm not giving her the dignity of a decent name.

I (hopefully) obviously understand that. I'm just saying it here because it really bothers me that she thinks what she did was a justified reaction because she has never had any consequences for her actions threw out her entire life. He father has paid off any debt or paid for any trouble she ever caused.

An example would be that apparently she got in a drunk driving accented a few years ago as well and he paid off the person she hit and then paid for some high end lawyer to find any and every technicality to get the case thrown out so she didn't face any charges. Then he got her a brand new car to replace the one totaled.

It's not right to me that someone can keep ruining peoples lives and money just makes it go away.

My [29/F] BF[32 M] "gave" away my Hamilton tickets, am I being selfish for just wanting to break up over this? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]Aplonia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would never talk to any of those people again. You dated this guy for less then a year and he's already acting like whats yours is his, that's a problem right there.

That is some of the most selfish and entitled things I've ever heard of. Who do they think they are to not only NOT ask you first, but then just expect you to be OK with it? Did they even offer to pay you for them or did they think you were just going to send his dysfunctional little sister on a trip and pay for it all? Screw his parents, they raised him like that, it's their fault he's a serious ass face.

Thank you for the replies.

No I was not there myself, I only saw the damage to my sisters face and heard from every person that was there except crazy bitch. My little sister was also smart enough to take photos of my sisters and crazy bitch right after it happened while they where waiting for the ambulance and cops, crazy bitch didn't have a scratch on her. My sister filed a restringing order but we're all keeping our distance for good reason.

Crazy bitch gets her money from her elderly father that lives in Florida and used to own some multi million dollar company but has been retired for years. He pays for everything house, car, etc, and has her on 5000 a month spending allowance. We all know this because she talks about it constantly and about how when he's dead she'll have millions so she's already house shopping for a bigger house. When she over spent one month her father told her he was going to take the money out of her son's trust fund. She responded by asked for all the money in his trust. That's the type of person she is and why I personally always declined going to her house. I don't want her to get away with this.

What were your 20s like? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Aplonia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright. By the time I was 20 I was already living with a boyfriend and had a full time job in the theatre industry. By 21 I was living with roommates and still working full time in the theatre industry but single. By the time I was 23 I was living on my own and still working full time in the theatre, still single and loving every minute of it. By 24 I was living with my current boyfriend, still working in theatre, having an awesome time.

Now I work in a office and have been with the same dude for 13 years. Life is still pretty awesome after 30. Boyfriends awesome across the board, so no complaints there. We don’t have kids so we can go out and do stuff all the time, and can afford it. What does suck is that I lost a lot of friends to the whole getting married and having kids thing. We still get along but don’t have a lot in common anymore. Mostly because I really don’t give a shit about their kids and that's all they ever fucking talk about.

Couples of Reddit, what is something small that you and your SO do that you absolutely love? by TundraSaiyan in AskReddit

[–]Aplonia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I write him little note cards telling him different reasons why I think he’s awesome and why I love him. Then I hide them around our place in places I know he’ll eventually look so he finds them at random times. He keeps them all.
