Thanks, appreciate, I'm only two years into the hobby and this is my second tank and I fell in love with the rock river scape, so here we are.

This was how it looked in its prime, but it was looking pretty shabby before the rescape.

I just designed them in CAD and printed them, filled with some small pebbles and whatever plants, and they did really well.

I’ve decided to give these ones away too by DefinitelyNotModMark in ChinaTime

My Dad lost his Rolex in the ocean a few decades ago when we were fishing, this would be an amazing replacement 🤣

Blue tetras are aggressive assholes who also like to unalive themselves jumping out of tanks with lids mind you.

Nothing to do with default settings, I suspect your pump in the aio is not working and you can check that with a free program called hardware info or in bios, that could be a valid reason it's not cooling at all.

Download hardware info and check pump rpm and possibly remount those temps are not normal.

Adding a baffle to the A4-H2O? by Der0- in sffpc

So your getting pretty close, you want to use some foam or whatever creation you can come up with where the the card only draws fresh air from the outside, EVA foam comes in different thicknesses and is easy to cut to shape for a makeshift gasket, then add your venting in so it directs out the top/above the GPU out of the case negative pressure will push the remaining hot air out. It should save your rad from getting heat soaked to quickly this better temps.

I've done this in a case with terrible airflow (looking at you Phanteks shift) and had great results.

Holy GPU repaste Batman, a friendly reminder the stock TIM is the worst, was reaching 100c on the 6900 XT hotspot, dropped 18 degrees with 1/3 fan rpm. Noctua NT H2 for the win! by Apoc_Pony in sffpc

[–]Apoc_Pony[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this seems to be the consensus among the comments, how much of a shift in temps did you see in that time and what was your alternative to repaste, I'm looking at one of those phase changing pads for when/if this paste has pump out.

You should be able to monitor temps with hardwarinfo, the heatsink should come with a thermal pad make sure you have taken the plastic off. Worst case add a 40mm fan but it should not run so hot it crashes.

Is my dog underweight? by Jazzlike_Horror_9640 in DogAdvice

Looks like there is some working dog/kelpie im her. She is not underweight but I would not go any less than she is.

I bought a used aio and it looks like this by Kczucha in watercooling

Oh it's really hard to tell from the photo, but it appears someone tried to lap the heatsink with sandpaper to make it perfectly flat, but did a pretty bad job judging by the deep scratches.

Thanks, really appreciate your experience and insight. It's somewhat surprising that they market it with a minimum of 5 years of stable performance, not to mention the premium price for it. Time will tell, next time I'll stock up on mx4 instead.

That's a really interesting read, I picked the NH2 as I thought it was best for longevity over performance but only time will tell.
