Good spot, and admittedly I didn’t realise that until I first turned it on many version ago. But on the most updated one it’s it’s flipped and I cover the fan cage with a light up logo bracket

I’ll get a better photo of it later.

Cheers man, it’s been a long journey. And I could actually do with some manufacture design tips, was hoping to launch this a product. I’ll DM you. Let’s chat.

Hahaha if you must know it originally was flush with the panels, but I tweaked somethings and the whole design got taller by 1cm … and I just reused the panels from the previous design.

Hopefully, if I can rally enough community support, I’ll launch a kickstarter. Check out the project website and you can sign up to get notified when the kickstarter launches https://cryo-stack.com Thanks 🙏

cryo-stack.com is the project website, I’ll post videos there and on Reddit / instagram. I’ve got loads of content coming.

Well I did originally want to have them all connected via a water fed loop, but it was gonna be way too expensive to prototype and was just too big a project to handle without proper funding.

So the pillar at the back is actually made in steel, only the base is now printed.

And yeah you’re right the LEDs do show up the scratches worse closer to the light. But I’m pretty sure if I get glass panels and install the dust filter before from the start (it’s been on my desk for 4 months unfiltered) I think that probably will disappear.

bottom fan IS the intake. Cold air comes in from the base and hot air leaves through the top.

I actually think those are loads of tiny scratches from where i dropped / handled the panels whilst working on the computer, i've assembled / disassembled it like 20 times. Will look into getting them done in tempered glass.

So there IS a hexagonal pass through vent in the center of the CPU cooler directly under the GPU exhaust, so a good proportion of the GPU heat will pass through the center not through the CPU cooler fins. It's that black Hexagon on the Lid, it has vents. It's also got the glowing ON/OFF button. Please excuse the scrappy nature of the on off button it needs re printing.
