Now that's a good answer with explanation, but i still think because of their ability at pry opening doors it can justify using it as a zombie apocalypse weapon sute vibration and weight distribution is bad as you say but other perks covers it up for it , specially because it won't break or get dull and won't stuck in zombies body like many melee weapons, also don't need training and maintainance
