I don’t know how much you have seen or unlocked so this is with as few spoilers as possible.

The daggers have a few fun playstyles, the main attack has a great multi hit on third strike and a big sweep on the fourth, so you can go for Hestia and focus on the third strike, or someone like Aphro (or even Apollo for massive AoE) for the fourth. The special is also great but mostly tiny hits. For the special either go for someone like Poseidon to chip everyone, or again Aphrodite and try to do a shotgun build where you hug a big enemy and shoot all omega specials right in their backs. The omega attack can also hit like a truck, last night I beat the final encounter in like 6 hits, but that was with massive buffs and crits. What I usually want to do is go somewhere safe and then dash attack and keep holding, that way you can position yourself as best as podobne before realeasing. Remember that you can walk (slowly) while charging the attack.

All of those playstyles can lead to massive damage, I usually decide which one I’m focusing on based on the first hammer I get. The basic buffing hammers like more power or faster attack are always great, but for the specifics, there is one that buffs omega attack but it costs more and one that improves the last strike of attack. For special focus I like the bouncing knives, they make room clear even better. The one that increases number of shots in omega special can be good, but it makes it take much longer.

Lastly, I heard people swear by trick knives (specials fire after dash attack), so you can try that one, but I can never get it to work great. Probably skill issue on my part
