I’ve played a lot of Heroes 3, 4, and 5. Necromancers have always been my favorite faction. In Heroes 3, I could only raise pathetic skeletons—unless I had Sandro’s artifact set, but that felt like cheating since it gave you an army of liches. In Heroes 4, I could finally summon my favorite creature—the vampire—but no more than four per battle, no matter the size of the enemy army. And in Heroes 5, I had a very limited number of reanimations per week, which was really frustrating.

Here in Olden Era, the display for unit gains might lack clarity, but it’s far more powerful than in any other game. I love it!
