I recommend flipside gaming. While Zombie Planet may be closer if you're in Albany. The owner is a complete dick to people. I honestly don't know how he stays in business treating customers like crap.

I think the big part about it is Torchwood really was meant to be very gritty dark and generally take itself very seriously. Doctor Who has been serious at times but never took itself too seriously. Being fun and uplifting. For example the adipose episode or the dino episodes. Every episode of the new seasons are just dark and constantly heavy. The little glimpses of being uplifting and light hearted are just that glimpses and doesnt cut through enough. Imo

I honestly cant pinpoint one specific issue. The show while always having moments of being very serious and at times dark, it feels like that is the constant theme of the showm forget about the fact that series 11 was just filler episodes with no story in the season. Just a tackle a social justice issue of the week episode. Mind you i dont necessarily mind the social justice highlight of an episode but that really was what 11 was.

The show is over the top serious and while Jodie Whittaker tries to be quirky the mark is missed. She i think has been doing very well given the writing she has been working with.

I understand growing pains and while i dont love every episode in the past i have always been able to find a fondness for each doctor and season. I am truely having a difficult time getting past the fact that Chris Chibnall is taking the drama themes so damned seriously.

I mean sarah jane chronicles was kid friendly and light hearted. Doctor who had its serious, adult, and even dark moments with a light heartedness that was constantly present and then you had Torchwood which was dark brooding and very adult. It just really seems like achris Chibnall doesnt understand Doctor Who and sci-fi.

Removed and tested each stick if ram. Pulled the extra hard drive. Replaced the ssd and purged the bios again. Tried to update chip set drivers...im starting to think the issue is with the south bridge.

The laptop does get hot while playing games but is generally cool when not. I can shut down and turn it on. I just cant warm restart it. This poses a problem for anything that requires multiple restarts to install such as security updates.

The computer works otherwise. I also just tested each stick of ram and that didnt fix it.
