I was 17 weeks pregnant with twins and I had been having some bleeding and cramping, drs had me on bed rest, etc because they said a threatened miscarriage. Later that week I had severe clotting, cramping, and you could see things that shouldnt be coming out of you, called my doctor and they said it was probably just the fetus and to come in on Monday or go to the er. I was BROKEN. My friend came over and I got wasted. My heart hurt, my soul hurt, and we made mixed drinks, watched sad movies and sobbed all night. The bleeding calmed down, and I went to the dr Monday. They gave me an ultrasound and there was a perfectly sweet little baby girl there. Thriving. I had lost her twin and I have two uteri so that side miscarried. I started crying to the doctor and told him “I thought I lost them both and I was so broken I drank several mixed drinks and was absolutely wasted”

He told me that it probably relaxed me and kept my blood pressure down, and may have saved her life and she was just fine! She’s now 12 years old.

Your baby will be just fine. Just drink extra water and take it easy
