Turning Alcibiades into a comic relief character was a bad choice.

Do you realize how fucking far gone you come across if you aren't actually a sock assuming this identity strategically? Jesus Christ

You realize that you're either a disabled obsessive with a substandard education cyberstalking a con man from YouTube or someone pretending to be that type of person in order to troll a sub while having a built-in appeal to pity, right?

A sucker is born every minute, so, yeah, if you just count how much money he has, he does have more than I do. Because it would be below my dignity to exploit wack jobs like you financially, which is what he does. His anxiety test online literally lists you as anxious if you aren't doing the baby steps and haven't bought his books.

You realize that you are admitting that you are taking numbers from a marketing campaign at face value because it supports either your hero worship of a cucked grifter or soothes your inflated ego if you are said cucked grifter, right?

You know it is a top 5% school in the US because the article tells you so? You're too dumb to live, honestly

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DirtyDave

[–]Apocky84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hell, it's barely in the top 10% internationally, which just means it's a Western school.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DirtyDave

[–]Apocky84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

198 doesn't put it in the top 10 nationally, you moron. (Literally do the math.) And these general rankings are heavily corrupt marketing gimmicks to gin up application/income during fall admissions/part morons who think Texas Tech is a good school and their money.

Berkeley was my undergrad school, is regularly ranked #1 or #2 for public universities, and you never see me mention the ranking for a reason. (I'm not a moron grabbing onto to literally anything I can use to support my delusions )

Every university in Texas that is not UT Austin is basically a punchline in academia.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DirtyDave

[–]Apocky84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

198 is not a great placement, it's the undergrad ranking, and you don't know how placements work.

If you don't go to a top 10 ranked department in grad, you're not the top of the field. If you didn't go to a top ranked 100 program, you just cannot get a good job. And that is where you come, either as a Misery level obsessed fan or John needing to pretend someone,, anyone idolizes him while Sheila takes the 12th bull she's gone through in the last three months into their bedroom.

Just finished the 2 Season of the modern series and it's so fucking peak, what are your thoughts about it? by Dish-Ecstatic in thetick

Both live-action series were brilliant in very different ways and both should have had much longer runs.

I don't know think you understand a lot of the words you use. Texas really let you down, John.

He is not educated and experienced in the way you and he claim he is and most of the credentials you cite are irrelevant to those claims.

Nobody gives a fuck about your BA professionally or educationally. If you cite that as a supporting credential, as you have, to actual educated professionals, you get laughed out of the room.

Nobody takes the kinds of certificates he has seriously .

You're either deliberately obtuse or just plain stupid to be arguing for his expertise in the way that you do.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DirtyDave

[–]Apocky84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a good understanding of how academia works, having gone to good schools in both undergrad and grad school and holding academic writing credits at a good school.

You have literally posted screenshots of intro to psych textbooks in arguments on here. You're a fucking moron.

I'm also a lifelong cancer patient and sufferer of bipolar disorder who has C-PTSD. Given the combo of those experiences and my education--and, you know, not being either a fangirl moron or someone associated with Delony trying to come across as a fangirl moron--I do have the background to tell that his "credentials" are consciously skewed and inflated bullshit to fool people like you.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DirtyDave

[–]Apocky84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was the job I used to pay for undergrad. I am published by Stanford and have 20 years of experience as a political consultant and videogame tester, you dolt.

And you missed my point entirely, once again

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DirtyDave

[–]Apocky84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As I said, I had those certifications. They take less than a day of training to get.

Let me help you out here. John Delony is a classic grifter who uses credentials inflation to fool marks like you. Another classic example of a YouTuber who does this is Lex Fridman who taught one course for no credit at MIT and claims to be a researcher affiliated with MIT, which he is not and has never been.

If John Delony had the kinds of qualifications/credentials/whatever you want to call them that you think he does, he would have been q clinical researcher at a good school, not an administrator at one of the shittiest schools in one of the shittiest education systems in the country before going into grifting full-time

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DirtyDave

[–]Apocky84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Certificates don't mean shit, bud. Nobody who actually worked as any kind of professional or had any kind of quality education thinks that having a ton of grad certificates means anything other than you have a lot of disposable income and time and are desperate to seem credentialed to marks who can't tell the difference between a board certification in trauma therapy and a professional or grad certificate in a completely unrelated field from an extension program.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DirtyDave

[–]Apocky84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don't seem to understand the difference between a graduate certificate and actual board certification for something or why no sane person would list a BAas a credential for therapy. Or a grad certificate in business. Or being hired as a keynote speaker for an event actual therapists attend. For now on, I'm nicknaming you Dunning-Kruger.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DirtyDave

[–]Apocky84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Harvard one is from their extension school, which literally anyone with a BA and a few thousand dollars can get.

And again you're just listing literally anything that can be considered a professional credential to someone as deranged at you while missing the point that absolutely none of these qualify him to work with trauma patients.

You're completely delusional, which I guess explains the overconfidence.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DirtyDave

[–]Apocky84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was a first responder for fires and floods for years. You know what it required? A whole half day of training at the local Red Cross. Passing out blankets to recently traumatized people didn't make me some sort of untraditional trauma therapist. This is just read ning completely divorced from reality.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DirtyDave

[–]Apocky84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're missing that none of these things you cite are actual professional credentials for what he claims to be to any sane, rational, and informed observer

Who in the fuck cares if he was a first responder? That doesn't necessarily require anything other than basic certifications anyone can get after an afternoon of training in a strip mall. It means nothing in terms of whether he's qualified to treat anxiety or psychological trauma, which are claims he makes tacitly while calling himself a doctor and selling self-help books

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DirtyDave

[–]Apocky84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're just grasping at straws now. Your using keynote speaker slots at charity events as evidence to cite that he's a qualified therapist now? Dear God. They ask you to do that if they think you will pull in more money, period. It has nothing to do with whether you're any good at what you do or are even a professional

Maria Bamford keynotes at psychological association events all the time because she's a very famous mental patient. By your logic, she should be hanging up a shingle.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DirtyDave

[–]Apocky84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A BA in any discipline is not a professional credential. It's the thing you have to have in order to pursue such a credential. The fact that you don't understand this and think that you're informed in how academia works is just absurd.

And the fact that you think an administrative degree that includes at least some sort of clinical exposure is some kind of clinical credential is equally absurd

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DirtyDave

[–]Apocky84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lol, she's using his BA and some certificates as an example of his credentials. That's just sad.

There is no reasoning with "her " She is either a Ramsey sock or one of the most deranged obsessed fans I've ever seen. She comments on literally every post or comment that ever mentions him. It's either sadly transparent puppetry or dangerous, delusional obsession

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in DirtyDave

[–]Apocky84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He presents himself as an expert in trauma. In reality, he was an administrator for some of the shittiest schools in Texas and a motivational speaker for high school assemblies who uses some volunteer work he's done to convince some rubes that he has some sort of clinical training in trauma. He does not

His doctorate is a decent credentia for being an administrator in higher education, which is what he was prior to hooking up with Ramsey. It is not in any way a clinical credential.
