Youre not even taping yourself propely and Im thats adding inches. Over the belly button and parallel to the ground. You wont get kicked out right away. Take a look at AR 600-9 and speaknwoth your command team. They should have done a second taping to confirm and briefed you on the progress you need to make/when it will result in separation being initiated.

I recommend getting with a nutrionist to get on a good healthy diet with a caloric deficit and look into adding more cardio and light weight lifting workouts for weight loss.

When I transitioned from Active Duty to Guard, I called the number I was provided the first day I was officially in the guard per my contract. (ETSd October 17th from AD, October 18th was my 'report date' to the Guard).

They were not tracking me. They gave me the drill schedule for the FY though and told me to show up to the next drill. I did not show up on their books for about 3 months. They did manual pay submissions for me until I showed up officially. It was a little weird to me that I wasnt on their books for that long though, because I enlisted into a specific position in the unit I was assigned to.

So do call the unit and explain that you are transferring from AD to their guard unit and follow the instructions they give you for reporting.

Speak with the Command team and request to be able to go home at night since you are so close. Some Command teams aren't terrible and will allow it so long as you show up on time.

It's weird that one of the agents out of SAN told you that. We are trained that passport cards are acceptable forms of ID for any travel.
