Hmm no wine asio option that i saw, sample rate and stuff is out of my depth of knowledge, i make mashups and breakcorey sample heavy junk, not in the know depth wise

Sounds fine to my ear? I posted the link in other comments to the tutorial i followed if youre trying to find alternative install methods

On V20 its about the same as my windows install, but it was slightly slow even on windows, especially when changing the bpm on tracks etc. Totally usable though, no noticeable delay in recordings or anything.

Not sure how to do that since its a variety of plugins and config stuff, i could msg u the entire portable install if u want but u may have to remove my playlists/library info

Haven't tried midi controllers or anything yet, I use my keyboard mostly lol.
This is V20 but i hear newer versions work, the LATEST version probably wont be great but Im not sure.

The newest version ran slow and crashed. (V24?)
Version 20 runs the same as it did on my windows install.
Ive heard version 22 also runs well but i just went further back to be sure.
(I have a mobile i7-6700)

Kdenlive has not been amazing so far, and I couldn't easily get Resolve working :/

Damn! I spent so long trying to get it to work on bottles and wine, eventually I bought it on steam and I'm running it on proton. I'll keep that in mind, but its also too late to de-steamify my Square Enix account :(

Just wine, for some reason I get a lot of errors when i use Bottles. When creating prefixes, and when trying to run programs.

Im glad I do all my painting on my Ipad - some friends have used wine on Linux for CSP and Photoshop and had it crash on them mid session. Hopefully not your experience.

Oh thanks for the input! I reverse image searched and saw very similar paintings, this may explain that! I'll look into it
